B-FUE hair transplants
FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction), commonly known as FUE hair transplant, is an advanced surgical technique for hair loss treatment. It involves extracting healthy hair grafts directly from the back of the scalp and replanting them in balding areas.
With B-FUE, individual hair follicles are extracted one by one using a specialized punch tool. This allows the grafts to be harvested with minimal damage and a high survival rate. The extraction process is performed under local anesthesia to minimize discomfort.
Once the grafts are extracted, they are immediately replanted in tiny slits made in the recipient areas using a micro-needling tool. The orientation and depth of the slits are crucial to ensure optimal growth of the transplanted hair follicles. The biggest advantage of FUE over traditional strip harvesting is that it leaves no linear scar on the back of the head. This makes FUE a good option for individuals concerned about the cosmetic outcome. With FUE, patients can generally return to work within a few days, The results can be natural-looking and long-lasting when performed by an experienced surgeon.
